Recommended equipment for 4G+ and 5G services

To get the best possible speeds and reliability from your 4G+ or 5G connection, we recommend equipment that has been tested and configured for your exact setup. Every property is different – signal strength, tower location and how you plan to use the service all affect what works best.

Our entry‑level but high-performing 4G+ routers start at $335. In more complex situations, such as when we need to use high‑performance antennas or custom mounting hardware, a fully installed package is often in the $500 to $800 range. These figures are intended as a guide only, as final costs depend on the property and the equipment needed. In some cases, especially with advanced 5G installations, the total can be higher. Full installation services are available within the Wellington region.

If you are outside Wellington and happy to install equipment yourself, we will guide you through selecting the right hardware and provide detailed instructions to ensure you still get the best performance.
